To commemorate the 90th birth anniversary of one of Goa's noted cartoonist late Mario Miranda who was born on May 2, 1926, Gallery Gitanjali, Panaji kickstarted the celebrations with the opening of an exhibition of his original pocket cartoons entitled 'A Pocketful of Chuckles'. The book 'The Life of Mario: 1949' was also launched on this occasion. The exhibition will be on display till May 21.
