Verna police station under the aegis of the Crocs and Cops community policing unit spent the afternoon with 14 girls from the St Joseph’s orphanage, Verna watching the movie ‘Aladdin’, during an event themed ‘Movie with a Cop’.
This togetherness was sponsored by community members from in and around Verna and Goa, namely Selton Pinky, Bhuvanendran and Suman, Luis Vaz and family members in loving memory of Late Thereza Pereira and Late Phiroze Mistry. Inox, Osia Margao under the leadership of Natasha DSouza and the Inox team also sponsored some beverages and eatables for the children and officers too.
For some of the children it was a first of its kind experience and they enjoyed interacting with officers Shraddha, Kiran, Sudesh, Satish, Vikram and Arvind from Verna Police Station.
