A group of young Russian women have proved that their disabilities don't define them, by taking part in the Miss Independence 2016 beauty pageant in Moscow.
The 11 contestants, who are all in wheelchairs, showed off their dancing skills performing as a group and with male partners as part of the competition. During the competition the women were seen in colourful evening dresses for a group dance, as well as white gowns for performances with their dashing male partners.
The youngest competitor Elena Semakina was crowned the winner of the competition, beating the other eight finalists to the title on Thursday night. Scan the QR code to watch their amazing performance.
