Rapper Drake is appealing to directors to send him scripts for potential movie roles as he is eager to return to his acting roots. The former child star, real name Aubrey Graham, began his showbusiness career as a castmember on longrunning Canadian teen soap Degrassi: The Next Generation. Drake subsequently turned his focus to music, and although he has scored small appearances in a couple of films, he is keen to really test his acting skills as the star of a new movie. "I can't wait to get back into acting. No one ever asks me to do movies, and although music is my focal point now... I'd love to do a film. That was the life that I lived before, and it would be interesting to live it again," he said.
