Brad Pitt’s patient wait to be reunited with his children in the wake of his divorce from Angelina Jolie didn’t go quite as well as he would have liked, with his eldest son Maddox reportedly refusing to attend. “He chose not to go and stayed with Angie,” a source said. “It wasn’t full of joy and happiness.” This devlopment comes just over a month after Pitt and Maddox were reportedly involved in a mid-air altercation aboard a flight from France to the States. Maddox was adopted in 2002 by Jolie from Cambodia, two years before Pitt met her. Although he was legally adopted by Pitt in 2006, along with his siblings Zahra and Pax, he apparently “doesn’t really see himself” as Brad’s son, with one source claiming, “Maddox never wants to see Brad again.” Fall out with family members is something that a lot of celebrities have gone through. Madonna
Although it appears that for the moment Madonna and her eldest son 15 year old Rocco are trying to put the family drama behind them, the two have shared some tough times as Madonna and her ex husband Guy Ritchie fought for custody over him. However earlier this year Rocco left his mum who was on a world tour to fly to Britain to be with his director father. Despite court orders asking for him to return Rocco stayed put leaving Madonna in tears. While Rocco continues to live in Britain, he seems to have temporarily patched up things with his mother.
Courtney Love
Frances Bean Cobain, the daughter of Courtney Love and late Kurt Cobain was in legal battle against her mother a few years ago wherein she claimed that Courtney lived on drugs, was a conspiracy theorists and that her hoarding had killed the family's pets. She also claimed that Courtney endangered their lives as she had previously set the house on fire and once had dragged Frances along to a fight with her ex-boyfriend. Courtney had previously lost custody of her daughter twice owing to her meddling with drugs. However it appears that of late mother and daughter have reconciled for the time being.
Kelly Clarkson
Singer Kelly Clarkson put her bitter relationship with her father into a song Piece by Piece, which narates the tear jerking story of how her father left her and her mum when she was just six years old. Her parents divorce also led to her getting separated from her siblings and they were only reunited after the singer became famous on American Idol. And as per the lyrics of the song, Kelly's dad did try to come crawling back after she had made a name for herself. This is however not the first song that Kelly wrote about him. The first one was Because of You, that wrote around the time of her parent's divorce.
Eminem
The realy Slim Shady whose real name is Marshall Matters III had a long standing feud with his mother whom he accused of being the reason why his dad walked out on them. The rapper who has put his feelings for his mum into a few of his songs accused her of having Munchausen Syndrome which is a condition where someone fakes illness to get attention. In this case, Eminem accused his mom of keeping him sick for this purpose. However the rapper reunited with his mum for The Headlights song and since then the two have tried to mend their relationship.
Tom Cruise
While he is in good terms with his older kids from his marriage to Nicole Kidman, Tom Cruise has been an absentee father for his youngest daughter Suri ever since he split up with Katie Holmes. Reports suggest that this could be due to the fact that both his older kids are practicing scientologists while Katie didn't want her daughter raised in Scientology and home schooled by church teachers. In the years since, NYC-based Holmes and Suri have since been “excommunicated” from Cruise's life because of his religion, according to the family source.
