The weekly Free Bird Wednesday night event at Café Cotinga in Anjuna saw a medley of locals and tourists from all over the world come down to enjoy a night of old-time classics and rock n roll tributes by singer-songwriter Austyn Goveas, all the way from Bangalore. Anirban Halder (Electric Pulse) was also present as a supporting act and the crowd was seen grooving and dancing to the beat, late into the night.
Facebook said Wednesday the number of users of its Messenger application had topped one billion, a key milestone as it seeks to expand the platform to new services.
