After teasing fans about a forthcoming 'official band announcement' following rumours of the band splitting up and Dave Grohl planning to go solo after his Oscars performance, Foo Fighters posted a hilarious new video where they poke fun of the rumours. The clip sees Grohl discussing a potential solo career with longtime Foos producer Buch Vig as the band attempt to recruit a new frontman, eventually settling on former boy band heartthrob Nick Lachey. The band is currently on a break with Foos drummer Taylor Hawkins terming it as an indefinite ihateus. “We did so much in the last five or six years”we as a band could go into the studio tomorrow and have just as much fun as we ever had, but I think the world needs a break from us for a little while,” he said.
