Back To The Future is one of the ultimate geek movies and it’s Chris Martin’s too. The Coldplay frontman, after a video from his son requesting him to play music from one of their favourite movies of all time, which is Back To The Future. Martin and the band starts off with Earth Angel and then, in a move which proves that this whole thing was set up, invite Michael J Fox on stage to jam with them. Fox then launches into the opening riff for Johnny B. Goode.
The whole video is captured from someone’s phone so you will find it a bit shaky at times, but luckily it’s just over six minutes long, so it won’t hurt your eyes as much as it would have, had it been far longer. Michael J Fox shows that despite his illness he can still play a mean guitar and handles himself so well on stage, it’s inspiring to watch the video just for that.
But of course, if you loved the music from the first movie, which is set in the late 50s, you should definitely enjoy this video.
