S.S. Dempo College of Commerce & Economics celebrated their golden jubilee recently with a cultural evening organised at Kala Academy open air auditorium. The evening saw performances by noted singers Varsha Usgaonkar and Abhijit Ghoswal. There was also a photo exhibition on display which traced the journey of the colleges through the years.
Getting everybody into the Christmas mood, Child's Play India Foundation recently organised their annual Christmas concert at Menezes Braganza Hall, Panaji in memory of Nirmal Goswami which featured 130 performers both young and old. The concert also witnessed the debut performance of tow choirs -The Child's Play children's choir and the adult community choir.
