Everyday, thousands of app get added to the Google Play Store. To counter this issue, Google is planning to add 8 more new categories which will get reflected to users in the next 60 days. The new categories include Dating, Auto & Vehicles, Beauty, Art & Design, Parenting, Events, Food & Drink and House & Home.
The new categories on Google Play Store will help reduce the number of extra apps in a single category. Like, Dating, Food & Drink will reduce the app load of Lifestyle category. The distribution of apps under extended categories will help users find an app easier than earlier searches.
