The second edition of the and was celebrated with much fervour at Socorro recently. Organised by the Socorro Socio-Art and Cultural Association, Porvorim with the help of Botanical Society of Goa, this three-day festival witnessed a colourful community celebration by the locals as people from all over Goa gathered to indulge in traditional combinations like kankana-cha, pao-choris, undo-ros, katre-fish cutlet, poli-chili fry and chicken cafreal, sanna-sorpotel and chicken rolls.
Some stalls even displayed modern varieties like sliced bread, ginger bread and French bread and traditional​​​ decorative breads in various shapes and sizes. Besides this, there was knowledge sharing on bread and plants by noted cartoonist Alexyz and plant lover Miguel Braganza.
