Lawrence has signed up for a forthcoming project, tentatively titled 'Project Delirium', for her debut as a director. Actress Jennifer Lawrence is now sizing up a role on the other side of the camera, saying that she’s weighing up the possibility of a directorial debut in the near future. “I’ve signed on to direct something called Project Delirium - it’s based on this article about mental warfare in the ’60s, like an acid experiment gone terribly wrong,” she said. The piece she refers to was published in the New Yorker in 2012, and describes military doctors running experiments on soldiers during the Cold War. The actress also added that she would like to direct a comedy. “ I have wanted to direct as long as I’ve wanted to act. I just don’t talk about it because I’d rather just do it.”
