Kolaveri Di sets new record — Captured by : bolly 2_1

Dhanush's chartbuster Kolaveri Di, which made him an overnight sensation, has set a new record now. The cult number has become the first Indian song to cross 100 million views on YouTube.

The song which was released on November 16, 2011 has been written and crooned by Dhanush and it won music lovers' hearts, courtesy its peppy music and colloquial lyrics. The video shows Dhanush recording the song, from his film 3, in a studio and also features the film's leading lady Shruti Haasan.

Jacqueline Fernandez will be lending her voice for the music video along with R&B and hip-hop singer Gurinder Seagal. While Jacqueline maintained that this is something really cool and different, her co-singer Gurinder added that she will be singing a major chunk of this cheeky romantic number. The music video of the said song, under the banner T-Series, will be shot in Dubai later this month.
