A humorous satire on the rule of the few over many, the Mustard Seeds Theatre Company's latest production, Animal Farm “ an allegorical play adapted by Peter Hall, based on the satirical and dystopian book by George Orwell “ was all about the abuse of language as an instrument to the abuse of power.

Headed by Isabel Santa Rita Vas, is Mustard Seeds Theatre Company is an amateur theatre group that believes in creativity-in-community while encouraging local talent.

Riding high on energy, songs and satire, the play “ with its cast of old stalwarts and newbies “ managed to make the audience laugh at the nature of the power games being played.

As relevant today as it was seventy years ago when it was written, the play was a truly compelling watch.
