Akshaye Khanna, who returned from oblivion to star in Varun Dhawan-John Abraham starrer Dishoom, has also been cast in a very important role in Mom. Akshaye was last seen in Gali Gali Chor Hai in 2012.
Film-maker Karan Johar has recently confirmed that a sequel to Student of the Year is pretty much on the cards. The 43-year-old director tweeted, "@DivyaChouksey: @karanjohar will you be making a sequel of #SOTY??" yes!!! Will be announced in 2 months! #soty2 #koffeewithkaran."'Student of the Year,' which was released on 19 October 2012 in over 1400 locations across India, marked the Bollywood debut of Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra.
