A graduate in Hospitality and Management, Gaurabh Quenim's heart was however fixed on art. His artwork is an expression of his emotional and spiritual evolvement and hence there is a marked difference in his original styles and current work. Gaurabh has moved from realistic depictions to a semi-abstract artistic style. The viewer is drawn into each work through an optical illusion akin to a game of hide and seeks. Each of his paintings gives the world a perception of the intricacies of the human mind, emotions, phases of life and journey of the soul. He likes to observe human behaviour, mentalities, life stories, beliefs and depict his thoughts in the form of eye catching paintings with bright contrasting colors. Gaurabh won the Goa State Award for Painting in the Emerging Artist Reward Scheme 2015 of the Prafulla Dahanukar Art Foundation
