BREAK UPS
I'm an 18 year old girl and a couple of months after getting out of a long distance relationship , I started feeling lonely and depressed. That's when I met this guy on Instagram. We exchanged numbers, and got really close within a month. He would make me feel special and would be there for me all the time. One day he confessed his love for me and I felt the same for him. We were together for 4 months when the turning point in our relationship came. A common friend of ours, informed me how it wasn't him who had proposed to me but his drunk friend who had texted me. My guy had just kept the game going because he wanted a little fun in his life. He ditched me finally on Valentine's Day, while I had a surprise ready for him.

I always had an image of a casanova. Although to some extent I'd agree to it, I wasn't a player all the time. I just couldn't find my zing. Girls just seemed to get boring and over possesive which I couldn't stand as I loved being free. On the first day of college, there was this pretty little shy girl who was at the second bench from the front row. Since she was alone with no partner, I sat next to her. We introduced ourselves but she didn't seem quite interested in talking to me which bothered me as I was never treated that way. It made me more eager to know her. After a lot of hardwork we were finally friends. She was introvert with not many friends and a good person too. I asked her out on a college event day and she said yes. We had the most amazing date and you can say I fell for her and I fell hard. She was the only one I dated for more than a year. At the start of next semeste however, she did not show up, neither did she answer my calls nor reply to my texts. I was depressed.. After trying hard for 3-4 months, one day I got a text from her saying, "Its over, I am engaged." I was completely broken and very angry . I broke my phone and never contacted her again.

We started out as bestfriends and ended up in a relationship. All the things they say about dating your bestfriends is true. He was very understanding, caring and fun to be with. Being friends for 6 years, then in a relationship for 3, we were giving relationship goals to everyone around. We graduated and went to different countries to pursue our Masters. But distance changed everything. Someone I knew was a total stranger now. We went on for a month or two like this but finally gave this a rest. It was frustrating to have lost him. It's been 2 years now and I still cant get over him, i just wished this lasted forever.

Nearly two months into the relationship, me and my guy were working on our high school reunion when these two guys I knew showed up to volunteer. Naturally, being the youngest people there, we started talking . The party had just started and I was the runner for the night. So I was chilling by the buffet tables while my guy and others worked the buffet. At one point, I looked over at him and noticed that he was visibly irritated that I had male company. I shrugged it off, knowing that these guys were just acquaintances. Upon returning to our room, he took his laptop and went down to the lobby. I followed him down a bit later, under the assumption that maybe we'd watch stupid videos or something, instead he opened notepad and started typing. I don't remember what was written exactly, but we had a back and forth silent breakup through a freaking word processor.

I was a party freak, on New Years night at a party at Sinq I met this hot girl. she was with a group of friends and looked single to me. I approached her and we introduced ourselves, I took her for some drinks and by midnight we were drunk. We welcomed the New Year together and I shared my New Years kiss with her. Next morning we parted after exchanging numbers. Over a few months, we became bestfriends and I asked her out. After being together for almost 6 months, one day she just stopped texting me or calling me. It continued like this for over a month after which I went to her house. A guy opened the door and knowing that she lived alone in the aprartment, it hurt to see him there. She then came to the door and awkwardly introduced me to the guy as her boyfriend. I froze for a moment, then I turned and furiously ran down the stairs straight to my car... Worst breakup ever!

This was the most amazing ride I had ever been on. My bestfriend ( whose now my boyfriend) asked what I'd like to do this summer, I randomly said that I'd love a ride through the whole city on a Vespa. After a couple of days he called me up and told me to get dressed, I got ready and went out waiting for him, he shows up in a yellow Vespa that made me jump in excitement. He then went on and asked me, " My lady, would you like a ride around the town?". I blushed and said 'yes'. Before sitting he gave me a helmet and when I was about to put it on, a small box fell from it. I opened the box and there was a beautiful ring. I looked at him surprised and confused and he grabbed the helmet from my hand and went down on his knees and said " Would you ride with me forever?". I bent down as well and asked him to put the helmet on my head like a crown and then he put the ring on my finger. The city looked extra bright and beautiful that day.

We were childhood friends, but during college we were in different states. During those three years, we were constantly in touch through Whatsapp and video calling through Imo and sometimes we visted each other over the weekend. After coming back home we got a little busy catching up with everyone. A week later he called me at night and told me how much he missed me and said we were closer when we were far apart. I told him, he was acting like he was my boyfriend. He zoned out for a moment and then said 'nothing like that'. Another week passed by same way, he couldn't take the distance anymore as he thought I didn't take him seriously. He invited me home for dinner. When I walked into his house, there was a red velvet ribbon attached on the ceiling from which hung our pictures together as kids and all our recent pictures, a few screenshots of our convos and even video calls. I was taken back, I felt a tear in my eye because I couldn't believe he did all this for me. At the end of the ribbon he stood with my favorite strawberry muffins arranged with sugar icing alphabets that read ' I love you' . Words weren't needed to tell him that I felt the same.

Being in the same Cateshism classes and traveling together in the same van to school as kids, we became bestfriends. Over the years we grew apart as we didn't meet as often. When we reached 7th standard we met again and eventually our friendship was back like before. We loved each others company and even had feelings for each other but the fear of losing each other stopped us fromconfessing these feelings to each other. In 10th standard, one of his bestfriends asked me out and I was infatuated with him. However, when he came to know that I was dating his bestfriend he was very hurt. He tried everything possible to get me and finally I broke up with his friend. He then came up to me and confessed how he had loved me for a long time and there started our story to which I hope there is no end.

I was a fresher keen to make new friends, I wanted to know everyone possible. One day I got a DM on Instagram from my senior. I was excited to know about his experience in college so we started chatting. We were from the same city, so we started traveling together to college. I loved his company and the fact he could make me laugh till my stomach hurt. He then later went on a college trip, and as I was used to his company while traveling, I called him everyday to check up on him. He would send me these cute texts saying how much he would have loved if I was there on the trip with him too. Once he came back we started traveling together again, and one day while we were sitting in the bus he held my hand and asked me out. Acting calm from the outside i was screaming 'YES!!!' from the inside. We went out on couple of dates and fell in love with eachother.

I've always loved movies, I'd drag my friends to any and every movie possible. I met this guy on Facebook who shared the same love for movies as me, eventually we became really good friends. He took me for the Hindi movie 'Tamasha' on my birthday, and after it was over I remeber saying , "I wish I had a love story like that", he just smiled back. A couple of weeks later there was a delivery at my place - a bunch of roses, a box of chocolates and a CD wrapped in a gift paper. I immediately ran upto my laptop and played the CD. He had made a short film for me, wherein he kept a teddy in front of him. He called the teddy by my name which meant I was the teddy and he said the most sweetest things I ever heard. I called him up and he said he loved me and I had to say the three magical words back to him... I got my fairytale love.
