The fourth edition of MediaScope was organized recently by the Departments of Journalism and Mass Communication of St. Xavier's College, Mapusa and witnessed the enthusiastic participation from 11 higher secondary schools across Goa. Over 165 students participated in competitions such as photography, Rangoli-fusion, News Spoof, MAD ad, News X, Quiz, Amazing Race and Dance. The chief guest for the valedictory programme, Cecille Rodrigues, finalist of DID super-mom gave away the rolling trophy to the overall winners of Mediascope 4.0 to Rosary Higher Secondary School, Navelim and runner up trophy to Shri Shantadurga H.S.S, Bicholim.
Colours of Onam
Onam celebrations by the Kerala Cultural Association, Vasco were extra special this year as the group celebrated it's 50th year of hosting this festival. A glittering celebration was held at the Meteora Hall, Bogmallo Beach Resort which witnessed a cultural programme and traditional Onasadya.
