Author Nicholas Sparks is all set to produce The Next Chapter for ABC. The comedy is loosely based on the new single life of The Notebook writer, following his split from his wife of 25 years. It has been written by Gossip Girl's Austin Winsberg and centres on a romance novelist who, after a divorce, must learn to date again and live on his own. Sparks will executive produce the show with Winsberg and Nicholas Sparks Prods' Theresa Park.
