John Oliver’s a hoot! He was, he is and he always will be. Last Week Tonight should be on everyone’s YouTube favourites list and it should also be part of the curriculum for journalists and comedians alike. Oliver, with Last Week Tonight, has destroyed more policies, theories and plans by governments and other organisations, than Donald Trump has destroyed brain cells with his campaign speeches and rants.

Last Week Tonight is usually a 10-12 minutes long episode where Oliver dissects one issue. But they often do shorter episodes as well. That’s the power of the internet. This time around, in a little over two minutes, John Oliver tackles the interesting issue of endorsements, inspired no doubt by the ongoing US Presidential campaign, or as he likes to call it, Uncle Sam’s Rock Bottom Yankee Doodle Suicide Pact.
