The first session of AnyBody Can Draw (ABCD) in Goa saw a varied mix of participants from diverse backgrounds. Architects, journalists, social workers, home makers, and a few school students all made up for an interesting group of people who were shown a new way of drawing from what they saw in front them as opposed to simply drawing on to the paper. The workshop definitely left the participants with a new way of looking at drawing outside the boundaries of scale, proportion, skill and the prescribed norms of aesthetics. Many participants have already shown interest for ABCD workshops in the future that promises to delve deeper into the nuances of drawing with watercolor, charcoal, Acrylics and much more.
