Chairman of SES and Shiroda MLA Subhash Shirodkar, addressing the student community said that they should take up their studies seriously right from the beginning of the semester, inorder to have a bright future ahead.
Principal Dr Surendra Rahamatkar speaking on the occasion highlighted the Mentorship scheme wherein special care is taken by the teachers to assist the students in their academic performance.
Poonam Kenkre, faculty of Computer department gave a brief presentation about the Institute and its activities.
The programme was attended by parents and the students of first year Engineering department.
Dr Anurag Jain, Head-Gen Engineering Department, Prof Ullas Nevagi, Head-ETC Department, Sweta Kamat, incharge of Computer department, Manjusha Sanke incharge IT Department and Associate Prof Rudresh Shirwaikar of IT department were present on the occasion. Dr Anurag Jain proposed the vote of thanks, while Loveena Coelho e Dias compered.
