Girls star Lena Dunham has surprised fans with a book full of her thoughts from a decade ago. Titled 'Is It Evil Not to Be Sure?', the book is a collection of diary entries from the mid 2000s and the actress admits that had mixed emotions about releasing the pages for public consumption. “I was filled with the kind of mortification that is part and parcel with meeting a former version of yourself, but I was also moved by - maybe even proud of - how carefully I had recorded that period of time, my younger self's commitment to capturing the kinds of hyper-internal formative moments so often lost to adulthood," she said. The star has decided to give all proceeds from sales of the new book to non-profit organisation Girls Write Now.
