Creating almost life like portraits of people with just pencil and charcoal on paper, Hemant Surlakar recently held an exhibition of his brilliant artworks at the Kala Academy Art Gallery. A total of 40 odd creations by this self taught artist were on display at the two day exhibition which was inaugurated by Vishnu Surya Wagh, Chairman, Kala Academy and had Siddharth Kunkoleinker, Panaji MLA, as the guest of honour.
