A poster competition on the theme, 'Say No to Suicide, Life is precious,' was organised by the Goa State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (GSCPCR ) at Bal Bhavan Panaji. The competition was organised as part of an awareness programme on World Suicide Prevention Day, celebrated the world over on September 10 since 2003, and was open to all school students in the classes of VIII-X.
Prizes for 3 best posters and certificates will be awarded at a special function to be held later in the year. The 3 prize winning entries will also be sent to all the schools to be displayed on the notice boards. Besides this, selected and prize-winning entries will be turned into a calendar for 2017.
