Make a calendar
With your sport practices and mounting number of projects and assignments “ it's easy to sometimes miss a deadline or practice because it just slipped your mind. Not to worry. Get out a big desk calendar and write down all the due dates for your schoolwork and projects. Then jot down the timings for your sport practices and games. Make sure that you revisit this weekly and make corrections. This way you will ensure that you never miss any deadline and are always on top of things.
Manage your time
Also with so many things on your plate, it's expected that you man start feeling anxious and crib about not having enough time to do it all, or worse not having any me time. First take a deep breathe. Next sit down and plan your time schedule - your school time, game and practice time, and travel time to and from school, as well as travel time to and from sports practices and events. By blocking this known time on your calendar, you can determine your actual homework time and study time. Also if you are one of those lucky ones who can read while travelling, make use of your travel time to and from school, practices, and games wisely. Review notes, read chapters, study, or read books. Another tip - use audiobooks while traveling and read along. And surprise! You will find that there is some time left over for yourself after all.
Do not procrastinate
Yes, we are all guilty of doing this more often than we would like to admit. But trying to get assignments done under panic inducement is not going to you any good. Do assignments as soon as they are given, rather than waiting until the last minute. Poor planning and waiting until the last minute will result in missed practices or games and you will probably end up getting less marks than what you are capable of.
Prioritize : List down the different activites that you would like to do “ from the most important to the ones which are the least important. By doing so, you can accord the time needed for each activity proportionally to their importance. For example, putting sports as equal importance as college work will maintain your motivation to practice daily.
Daily practice: Daily practice relieves all the stress and helps you escape from work and produce much more effectively afterwards. Swimming for example helps you clear your mind from everything surrounding you; it’s just you and the water.
