Christmas is just around the corner and Grand Hyatt Goa has officially embraced the season of joy, in all its grandeur with a Christmas tree lighting ceremony held at Confeitaria. The magnificent Christmas tree, decked with trinkets in accents of gold, silver and red was lit up by Jaco Le Roux, general manager, Grand Hyatt Goa. The ceremony also played host to an enthusiastic bunch of kids from Care and Compassion Goa based in Santa Cruz. Each one of the 16 kids came along with delicately handmade ornaments that went up on the tree.
The spirit of the season was elevated by the young bunch singing Christmas carols that filled the room with delight. The resort is going grand for the holidays and they have set the tone for the festive season by celebrating this joyous ceremony in a special way. Roux, presented two of the kids surprise gifts for creating the most imaginative ornaments. The evening progressed with an Asian dinner at Asian Wok that featured specials of the all new menu.
