Hollywood superstar Amanda Seyfried known for high-profile parts in Les Misérables and Mean Girls will have a mystery recurring role in the new Twin Peaks. Seyfried is the first new cast member to be revealed, as production begins on the miniseries in the Pacific Northwest. Very little is known about the plot of Twin Peaks season three, other than that Kyle MacLachlan will definitely be back as FBI special agent Dale Cooper. Twin Peaks season three could air next year, although there is no definite episode count yet.

Westlife star Markus Feehily claimed that the Syco boss "completely blanked" him when they were both holidaying in Barbados. The 35-year-old singer who is releasing his debut solo album Fire on October 16 recalled walking past the X Factor judge, who apparently didn't acknowledge him last year.
