Actor Kit Harington, who plays the character, also added fuel to the fire by maintaining that Jon Snow was dead. But he also ended up on pictures taken at the set, fuelling further speculation about his life-or-death status. He recently apologised for “lying” to his fans who had hoped for his resurrection. “I’d like to say sorry for lying to everyone. I’m glad that people were upset that he died. I think my biggest fear was that people were not going to care. Or it would just be, ‘Fine, Jon Snow’s dead,” Harington said.
