Shah Rukh Khan has expressed a desire to play Guru Dutt in a biopic. An editor of an entertainment magazine had tweeted about his wish about SRK play Dutt on screen, as he feels SRK will be the best to show “anger, romance, devastation,” all which is said to be a huge part of the filmmaker’s tragic life. To which, the actor replied, “Absolutely. I should do it. And as you lovingly say my friend my face is like a beautiful poem… in black & white.” Guru Dutt was one of the brilliant directors Bollywood had and was known for directing several classics like Pyaasa, Kaagaz Ke Phool, Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam and Chaudhvin Ka Chand. He died at the age of 39.
