Goa Entertainment Association (GEA), hosted its 5th annual Noman Tuka Goa event at Blueberry Hill, Verna which saw bands like Sky High, Archies, Rhythmnation, White Flames, Acacio and The Rabbits dishing out exquisite English retro along with nostalgic Konkani songs. GEA highlighted the completion of 20 years in the industry by the bands Sky High and Archies while two of Goa’s senior music stalwarts Acacio Tavares and Laury Pires were felicitated by GEA during the event for their valuable contribution to music and entertainment in Goa. Eight GEA members who apart from being entertainers are also teachers by profession, Orville Lourenco, Gladis Lourenco, Mercy Fernandes, Suzy Fernandes, Elvis Goes, Marianela Gina Mascarenhas, Selwyn Menezes an Neil D’Cruz, were also felicitated by Rotary Club at the event. Apart from this Dr. Martin’s ‘Dance Illusions’ mesmerised the crowds with a stupendous dance performance. The event also saw crowning of the NTG Queen Rhona Carvalho while Alacoque Morenas and Lisa George were 1st and 2nd runners-up.

I am a 55 year old male who is a borderline diabetic. I am on Metformin 500mg and on Telmisartan 20 od. I need to know the status of cardiac blocks. Will a TMT, 3D Echo and a CT Angio indicate or rule out blockages? Leslie FernandesThe Doctor says: A 2D Echo and a TMT would be advisable.
