One of the most popular shows on Indian television, Zee Tv's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa has cultivated a loyal following over the years. Not just that it has also been instrumental in giving the country many of it's present day singing stars like Shreya Ghoshal and Kunal Ganjawala. The grande finale of this year's edition will take place right here in Goa at the Pedem Sports Complex, Mapusa on July 14, 3 pm onwards, where five talented singers will battle it out for the coveted title.
21 year old contestant Jugpreet Bajwa who hails from Canada is an inspiring story for many. Having lost his vision to eye cancer when he was very young, Bajwa has not led that hinder his goal towards becoming a singer. He will be up against Jyotcia Tangri, from Jalandhar , Punjab who has received plenty of compliments for her strong voice and been adjudged chartbuster performer of the week, thrice in a row. Hailing from Uttar Pradesh, Rupali Jagga never thought that she would even make it past the first audition. However she has completely enchanted judges and audience alike with her soulful voice and expressive face. The other two contestants in the running are Sachin Valmikan, a music teacher by profession and 17 year old Kolkotta boy Kushal Paul. The show will be telecast on television on July 17, 7 pm.
