Owen Wilson is a funny guy. He’s so funny, that it’s hard to imagine him paired up with another funny guy in a movie because that might just cause so much laughter it may become hard to sit up straight, just remember what happened in The Wedding Crashers. Of course that was more a rom-com than just a comedy. Now, Wilson is back, with Ed Helms, the guy who played the Mike Tyson tattoo wearing dentist in The Hangover series.
The movie Bastards (Mothers and fathers please look away) is about two sons who find out much later in life that their mother made up stories about their father dying when they were young. In fact, she doesn’t even remember who their father was. So, the two decide to go out and search for him. What happens next is obvious, it’s like opening a bag of seriously dysfunctional slapstick comedy. There are a couple of cameos in the film, but we’re not going to tell you who they are because we can’t remember names very well. Just know that they are famous, we think.
