Olivia Wilde who previously directed New Orleans shamble-rockers Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros’ “No Love Like Yours,” which she shot entirely on an iPhone is now going back behind the camera for “Dark Necessities,” the first single off the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ upcoming 11th LP. Wilde shared photos from the set with various members of the band on her Instagram account, joking about making Chad Smith play double-time for a shot and how she was attempting to hide her pregnancy on set. “Dark Necessities” is the first single off The Getaway, the RHCP’s 11th studio album, which is slated for release June 17.
