Goa’s chef community led by the Culinary Forum of Goa (CFG) recently organised a state-wide charity initiative to feed the highest number of kids ever in an effort to commemorate International Chefs Day. The CFG brought together all sections of Goa’s hospitality industry i.e. chefs of hotels and restaurants, owners, professionals, vendors and even college students for this initiative. Along with awareness being raised of this important industry day, the goal is also to empower chefs to host their own small charity event at their respective properties to inspire the younger generation to give with an open heart. Work is underway to include the wards of numerous orphanages and homes all across Goa.
