Ahead of the NEET (UG) 2026 re-examination scheduled on June 21, the district administrations of North and South Goa have constituted district-level committees to conduct physical audits of all examination centres designated for the National Testing Agency (NTA) examination.

Orders issued by North Goa District Magistrate Ankit Yadav and South Goa District Magistrate Sriram Keniwale state that the committees have been formed in accordance with NTA directives to ensure the transparent, smooth, fair and secure conduct of the examination.

The committees comprise representatives from the district administration, police, education department and Kendriya Vidyalaya principals serving as district nodal officers. They have been tasked with jointly visiting all designated examination centres, carrying out thorough physical audits and submitting compliance reports.

The re-examination has been scheduled after the initial NEET (UG) examination held on May 3 was cancelled following a paper leak, prompting the NTA to order a fresh test. Authorities have been directed to complete the audits and ensure all examination centres are fully prepared ahead of the June 21 examination.
