Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat apparently believes in the golden maxim “Silence is golden”. Fatorda Block Congress’s move to field a panel of candidates for the ensuing MMC polls when Kamat has entered into an alliance with Goa Forward to revive the Margao Civic Alliance has not evoked any reaction from the Margao MLA. This assumes significance when he had told the media last week that he would request GPCC Chief Girish Chodankar to get Congressmen withdraw from the fray.
