Former Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) chief Girishbab Chodankar should be pleased with successor Amitbab Patkar’s move to file a disqualification petition against the eight Congress-turned-BJP MLAs. Girisbab in private has been insisting with the party leadership to file disqualification petitions against the eight MLAs. Girishbab had raised the disqualification issue with party leaders since the time of the defection.
