The opposition seemed frantically trying to find out whether any senior member of the saffron brigade descended in Goa on a fire-fighting mission post-statement by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Mhadei. The opposition groups apparently believe that the Centre sent its emissary to the state after two Cabinet Ministers sought to contradict Amit Shah’s statement that the Centre had consulted Chief Minister Pramodbab Sawant on Mhadei river water diversion to neighbouring Karnataka. Wait and watch.
