Former Chief Minister Luizinhbab Faleiro seems to be on the way to finally realise his dream to make it to Parliament. Around 40 years ago, the former Chief Minister had thrown his hat in the South Goa Lok Sabha election ring on the Goa Congress banner. Take note, Luizinhbab had polled around 41,644 votes, but was left way behind in the 1984 Lok Sabha election held against the backdrop of the assassination of former Prime Minister late Indira Gandhi. Almost 40 years later, Luizinhbab is set to enter the Rajya Sabha. Wait till November end.
