And it’s over a month now since IPS officer, Pankaj Kumar Singh, has been presiding over as the district police chief, replacing local senior police officer, Arvind Gawas, IPS. That’s not all. Finding himself in a tight spot
Nuvem MLA Wilfredbab D’Sa aka Babashan finds himself in a tight spot over the double-tracking project. The BJP government appears to be leaving no stone unturned to bulldoze with the project by invoking the Railways Act to acquire land. Babashan, on the other hand, has decided to be with the people opposing the project, allegedly for coal transportation.
