Panchayat Minister Mauvinbab Godinho is in the cynosure of all eyes. It will be six months on September 22 since the government and the State Election Commission had postponed the Zilla Panchayat election scheduled on March 22 because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Many a panchayat satrap around Saxtti countryside are trying to find out whether Mauvinbab will hold the postponed Zilla Panchayat polls before September 22. Mauvinbab Godinho has publicly batted in favour of the ZP polls in September, but no date has yet been announced so far. Wait and watch.
