When Varca strongman Bab Churchill played Mamata Didi’s tunes at a media briefing earlier this week, it only threw up more questions than answers across Saxtti’s coastal belt. As many as two leaders from Benaulim constituency, noted tiatr producer Tonybab D’Costa followed by Carmona Sarpanch Allwynbab Jorge had embraced the TMC around two months ago. In fact, sources say the duo had been going about their campaign in Benaulim in right earnest since then. Tonybab has even opened his office in Benaulim during the weekend. Didi’s scheduled visit to Goa around mid-December may shed light on these questions.
