Supporters and workers of Mickky Pacheco have been left to wonder why the flamboyant minister returned to his home constituency Nuvem when he made a determined bid to get the Congress ticket for the Benaulim seat. In normal circumstances, Mickky ought to have contested from Benaulim on the NCP banner after covering much ground in the constituency anticipating the Congress ticket. Or, is it a fact that Mickky had plans to field a candidate on the NCP banner for Benaulim, which, however, failed to materialize at the last minute.
