Many Congressmen must be wondering why Congress Legislature Party leader Digambarbab Kamat has not convened a CLP meeting in recent days when the state is plagued by many burning issues. Pose this question to the CLP leader and is quick to say that there’s no let-up in the Covid situation in the state. Congressmen in private say it’s a sheer coincidence that no CLP meeting has been held since the time veteran MLA Ravibab’s sons had quit the Congress to embrace the BJP. Or is it that Diggu apparently believes there’s no need to call for a CLP meeting when there’s no Assembly session in the immediate future? Sounds interesting, isn’t it?
