D’Souza Boys Siridao edged past Vaikkanni Boys Calangute 5-4 via a tie-breaker to clinch the Siridao London Trophy at the Siridao ground on Monday.
Both teams had opportunities during regulation time but failed to convert, with Enancy D’Souza missing a chance for D’Souza Boys Siridao and Andrew D’Souza unable to find the net for Vaikkanni Boys Calangute.
The match was eventually decided through penalties, where D’Souza Boys Siridao held their nerve to emerge as the better side.
Viresh Borkar, MLA of the St Andre constituency, attended as the chief guest and presented the prizes to the winners and runners-up in the presence of other dignitaries and organisers.
