The Masters category of the Gadre Gaspar Dias Open 2026 will commence today, January 22 at the iconic Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias in Miramar, marking the start of sporting action at one of Goa’s most anticipated tennis tournaments.
The Masters category matches will be held from January 22 to January 25, setting the tone for the 11th edition of the event, a major early-year fixture in Goa's tennis itinerary.
The Masters segment has drawn strong participation across age groups, underlining the tournament’s appeal among senior players. A total of 387 entries have been recorded in the Masters category. The 45+ men’s singles leads the field with 70 entries, followed by 42 entries in the 60+ singles and 30 in the 55+ singles category. In doubles, the 90+ men’s doubles has attracted 60 teams, while the 110+ and 120+ doubles categories have recorded 43 and 32 teams, respectively. The 35+ mixed doubles event has drawn eight teams.
Jointly organised by Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias and the Gadre Group, in association with the Goa State Tennis Association (GSTA), the tournament has received a record 555 entries across the Masters and Open segments. The tournament's Open category matches will begin on January 26.
