Arjun Parshuram Kadam of Goa has brought laurels to the state by successfully clearing the National Diploma in Officiating (NDIO) Examination conducted by the Judo Federation of India from 21st to 26th January 2026 at Kolkata.
By securing JFI–A status, Shri Kadam has officially qualified as a National Level Judo Referee, a distinction earned by only a select group of officials across the country. The NDIO examination is known for its strict evaluation standards, testing candidates on technical knowledge, rule application, and on-mat decision-making.
Kadam, while expressing his happiness, gave full credit for his achievement to Shri Mir Dias, Judo Coach of the Sports Authority of Goa, acknowledging his constant guidance, technical mentoring, and motivation throughout his journey in judo and officiating.
This achievement marks a proud moment for the Goan sports fraternity and is expected to further strengthen Goa’s representation in national judo competitions.
