Goa Medical College and Don Bosco College, Panjim registered convincing wins in their respective semi-final clashes on Day 20 of the Goa University Inter-Collegiate Men’s Cricket Championship 2025–26 to book their places in the final.

In the first semi-final, Goa Medical College defeated Dnyanprassarak Mandal’s College and Research Centre, Assagao by four wickets in a closely contested match.

After winning the toss, DM’s College opted to bat first and posted 137/7 in 20 overs. Rohan Zantye top-scored with 55 off 49 balls, while Rayyan Sajjad Shah contributed 28 off 28 deliveries. For Goa Medical College, Tanish Prabhudesai and Rohan Vadyekar picked up two wickets each.

In reply, Goa Medical College chased down the target, scoring 141/6 in 19.1 overs. Adarsh Naik led the charge with a solid 58 off 54 balls, supported by Tanish Prabhudesai (31 off 19) and Arsh Sardesai (31 off 29). Rohan Zantye claimed 3/31, while Rohan Phadte took 2/12 for DM’s College.

Adarsh Naik was adjudged the best batter, while Tanish Prabhudesai was named the best bowler of the match.

In the second semi-final, Don Bosco College, Panjim dominated proceedings, defeating Government College of Commerce & Economics, Borda, Margao by nine wickets.

After electing to bowl first, Don Bosco College bundled out GC Borda for just 52 runs in 17.5 overs. Sameer Harmalkar and Ajay Raj starred with the ball, claiming three wickets each, while Namdev Raul chipped in with two wickets.

Chasing a modest target, Don Bosco College cruised to 58/1 in just 4.3 overs. Sapnish Satarkar smashed 18 off 5 balls, while Ajay Raj added 19 off 14 deliveries. Mohammad Afzal picked up the lone wicket for GC Borda.

Sameer Harmalkar was named the best bowler, while Sapnish Satarkar took the honours for best batter in the match.
