MARGAO: Parish Youth Nuvem advanced to the next round of the Lourdes Soccer Cup after edging past Ambelim SC 5–4 in a tie-breaker in a match organised by Ambelim SC and played at the Ambelim ground on Saturday.
The match ended in a goalless draw at the end of regulation time, with both teams failing to break the deadlock.
In the ensuing tie-breaker, Parish Youth Nuvem displayed better composure to clinch the contest. Joywin Costa of Parish Youth Nuvem was the standout performer, impressing with his dribbling skills and powerful shots, and was deservedly named Man of the Match.
